Katherine Gallagher has over 10 years of comprehensive experience in various areas with a recent focus and passion for digital content planning, specifically developing and implementing strategies to promote company or brand growth and progress.
Katherine currently works as Programming Manager for Sinclair Broadcast Group's ad-supported OTT streaming service, STIRR. During her time with STIRR, she has actively implemented the successful launch of multiple key revenue-generating initiatives as well as overseeing the National STIRR City Channel. These initiatives include Sinclair Broadcast Group’s acclaimed, “The National Desk” on 87 stations (including all MY and CW Network channels owned or operated by Sinclair), STIRR High School Football which has live streamed over a thousand local football games since the channel’s launch and multiple Specials with highly desired, local, specialty programming.
Previously, Katherine has worked for a decade in digital media and advertising for companies including NBCUniversal, ESPN and Grey Global Group. Within these roles, Katherine has utilized her expertise of distribution workflows and diverse communication strategies, successfully analyzing business needs that has resulted in multimillion-dollar growth of businesses. Some highlights include supporting multiple Olympics coverage, managing NBC show syndications for all brands and breaking major news stories.
Katherine graduated with a BA in Media Production and Performance, Communications from Central Connecticut State University. She also studied abroad for an entire academic year studying Film and Media at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, Scotland, UK.
