Unscripted executive and executive producer Paul O'Malley is the former senior vice president of development at 3 Ball Productions, part of 3BMG (3 Ball Media Group).
O'Malley oversaw 3 Ball's entire slate of series and specials, encompassing an array of unscripted genres for myriad networks and platforms, including Amazon's first-ever docuseries Tampa Baes, CBS's family competition Come Dance With Me and Paramount+'s travel doc Sampled, as well as Amazon's upcoming docuseries with Latin American superstar YouTubers Callé y Poche. He also developed and served as a consulting producer on Netflix series My Unorthodox Life.
O'Malley joined 3 Ball in 2018 following a six-year tenure at Authentic Entertainment, where he served as head of casting before being named vice president of development. For Authentic, he developed and casted series including TLC's Trading Spaces, Toddlers and Tiaras & Honey Boo Boo, Esquire's White-Collar Brawlers and Knife Fight, GSN's It Takes a Church, FYI's Waterfront House Hunting, and CNBC's Listing Impossible.
O'Malley's production credits include RuPaul's Drag Race, NBC's American Gladiators, MTV's Parental Control, Bravo's Tabitha Takes Over, and more than 70 episodes of GSN's hit show Baggage. He began his entertainment career on NBC's Deal or No Deal.
