Kelly Morshead is the Marketing Lead at Willow, the premier broadcaster of cricket in the United States and Canada. Kelly brings 14 years of global marketing and digital communications experience to bear in this senior strategic role. Her role is essential to propelling Willow through their current hyper-growth cycle at a pivotal turning point in its 20-year history.
A passionate multi-sport enthusiast, Kelly’s love for sport has just kept growing since her experience as a country lacrosse player and women’s field hockey goalie. Volunteering in sports since she was 15 years old, Kelly is a fierce advocate for volunteerism and youth and community engagement in the sport industry. From leading volunteer teams in hospitality and athlete services for London Youth Games to being an athlete transport volunteer for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, she’s seen it all.
Her cross-curricular marketing background has a sports and leisure golden thread running through it as she continually returned to this passion area. From Campaign Management at Expedia to Consumer Marketing at IMG (Motorsports) and leading comms strategy for Tough Mudder, she’s been able to turn her hand to every corner of sports, leisure and event marketing. Outside of sports a proud moment was creating the marketing plan for the 2020 UK census, ensuring everyone was counted and had a voice.
Home is Guildford, UK where she volunteers as a ‘puppy parent’ for assistance dog charity Canine Partners with a lovely Labrador pup Bea. In her free time Kelly likes to challenge herself with endurance events, most recently completing the London Marathon and also notably the 100km run ‘Race to the Stones’, raising money for charities Mind and Canine Partners.
