Sophie Flay is a reporter covering Southern California at ABC7 Los Angeles. She was part of the inaugural Community Journalist team, focusing on Central LA. 

Sophie is LA Press Club nominated and is proud to be part of the ABC7 team awarded a 2024 Golden Mike for ‘Best Weekend Newscast.’ Her reporting has been seen across the country, even making headlines overseas. 

She brings her skill set to the University of Southern California as an adjunct professor teaching storytelling for social platforms.
