Rebecca Rolnick Knaack, recently elevated to Senior Vice President of Entertainment at Metro Public Relations, leads the firm's dynamic TV and film division with a focus on strategic communications services. Since joining Metro in 2017, Rebecca has been instrumental in expanding the division's reach, overseeing a bi-coastal team that drives publicity campaigns for key clients including Disney, Amazon Prime Video, Lionsgate, World of Wonder and many more.
Her expertise extends to representing a diverse array of clients including media companies, producers, writers, and directors, offering services in corporate communications, personal brand messaging, content strategy, and influencer marketing. Notable clients under her leadership include the Emmy award-winning RuPaul's Drag Race global franchise, Hartbeat, Mortal Media, and acclaimed producers Dan Harmon, Marta Kauffman, and Yeardley Smith's Paperclip Ltd.
Rebecca's team has achieved remarkable success with recent projects, including the revival of the beloved “Mighty Ducks” franchise for Disney+, the launch of “Moon Girl” featuring Disney's first Black superheroine, and the international expansion of “RuPaul's Drag Race” to over 15 global territories. Their efforts have earned accolades such as Fast Company's Most Innovative list and a SABRE Award for Best Entertainment Campaign.
With a commitment to nurturing talent, Rebecca mentors her team, fostering professional growth and managing day-to-day operations. Prior to Metro, she honed her skills during four years at PMK*BNC in the Television department and began her entertainment career as an assistant at Gersh.
