Maryam Mehrtash is the Vice President of Integrated Marketing at Paramount overseeing Paramount+, CBS Entertainment and CBS Media Ventures. In her role, she is responsible for driving revenue for these iconic brands/platforms by proactively positioning them and their best-in-class IP to the advertising marketplace and overseeing post-sale execution for monetized opportunities.
Having spearheaded Paramount+’s go-to-market launch strategy in 2021, Maryam has led the team through a period of exponential growth by continually innovating in creating novel opportunities for brands. Maryam brings to her role more than 15 years of experience in content, marketing and sales across entertainment and media. The teams she manages have led award-winning TV360 cross-platform campaigns, and have been featured in AdAge as best in class. She has driven multi-million-dollar sales strategy and execution from Late Night, to The GRAMMY Awards, to some of entertainment’s top multi-platform franchises including Star Trek, Yellowstone spin-off 1883, The Challenge, and the upcoming Halo. Prior to Paramount, Maryam led the digital monetization strategy for KTLA 5 News, was a consultant and advisor to top media and television agencies, and produced two lifestyle television shows.
A gifted storyteller, Maryam’s clear-eyed vision, trailblazing spirit and creative drive have led her to constantly push boundaries to bring custom solutions to brands and the industry at large. An active executive member of both Women in Film, and Chief, Maryam has been awarded a TeleFilm Pitch This! Scholarship at the Toronto Film Festival and a HotDocs Astral Media Emerging Filmmaker Award.
