Dan Lanzano serves as Vice President, Advertising Sales at Warner Bros. Discovery, responsible for the cross-platform strategy and monetization for marquee properties including HGTV, CNN, TNT, ID, Magnolia, TRVL, and HLN. Through a client oriented consultative approach, Dan leads a team laser focused on providing partners with innovative, full funnel solutions leveraging the full suite of WBD assets across linear, digital, streaming, advanced targeting and addressable. He has successfully built strategy and monetization efforts for emerging media platforms & products including multiple Data Driven Linear assets & HBOMAX Streaming. Dan has spearheaded several first-to-market content partnerships that have enabled blue-chip advertisers to engage with target consumers more deeply by tapping into the fandom and cultural relevance of signature WBD IP.
Starting in 2016, Dan held the position of Vice President, Ad Sales at Turner/WarnerMedia, now part of Warner Bros. Discovery, driving multi-platform ad sales efforts across TBS, TNT, CNN, Adult Swim, truTV, Cartoon Network & HBOMax. Dan began his career at Turner in 2007 as an Account Service Representative for CNN and rose the ranks to Sales Planner, Associate Account Executive, Account Executive and now Vice President. He’s built his skill sets by serving in multiple departments within the greater portfolio inclusive of News, Entertainment, Young Adults & Kids, and Lifestyle brands. Building a positive corporate culture is also extremely important to him and as member of the WarnerMedia Culture Council, Dan constructed companywide initiatives to attract, develop, motivate & retain top talent while also creating programs that connected employees across the country to drive new, innovative ideas.
