Samantha DiPippo is the senior vice president of development at Crown Media Family Networks. Based in the company’s New York office, DiPippo reports to Executive Vice President, Programming, Lisa Hamilton Daly.
DiPippo is responsible for the sourcing and development of original holiday content for the company’s three linear networks, Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama and subscription video on demand service, Hallmark Movies Now. Her oversight includes hearing pitches, evaluating submissions, developing projects, and creating programming strategies with senior management. Working closely with the company’s west coast programming team, DiPippo shepherds assigned movies and series projects through all aspects of the production process from ideation to final delivery.
Prior to joining Crown Media in 2017, DiPippo acted as director of co-productions and acquisitions for Lifetime Networks. Previously, she held positions in the programming and scheduling departments at both truTV and History Channel.
She is an active member of WICT and graduated among the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute (BMLI) Class 42 in 2021.
DiPippo holds a bachelor’s degree in television and radio from Ithaca College.
