Bio

Mike Correia is Vice President of U.S. Networks Distribution at Paramount Global. As a member of the core deal team, Mike serves as lead or second chair negotiator on multi-million/billion-dollar content licensing negotiations with distribution partners (such as retransmission consent, cable network, and digital/new media deals). In addition to overseeing deal negotiations and strategy, he manages day-to-day business relationships and works with distributors to identify new business development and partnership opportunities.

Prior to joining Paramount, Mike was a member of Univision’s Content Distribution team, responsible for increasing the multi-platform distribution of Univision’s robust portfolio of networks and stations. Key initiatives included supporting the launch (and securing distribution) of then-fledgling cable network Univision Deportes, which went on to become the most widely distributed Spanish-language cable sports network in the U.S.

Mike first began his career in media over 12 years ago at ION Media Networks, where he reported directly to the SVP of Affiliate Sales and supported the distribution efforts for ION’s 60 O&O stations. Before that, Mike had been an analyst at Bloomberg where he worked on the launch of a first of its kind service which enabled clients to access all publicly available environmental, social and governance data for utilization in investment decision-making.

A New York area native, Mike currently resides in Brooklyn and is an avid music fan and instrumentalist. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Kean University and is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at the Harvard Business School. Mike has served as a T Howard Foundation mentor for 10 years and has participated in various company-led mentoring initiatives throughout his career.
