Isaac Holub is co-founder of Lucky 8 and spearheads development across the company’s entire roster of programming. Most recently, Holub executive produced Netflix's hit docuseries "Unlocked: A Jail Experiment" and was integral to the development and sale of "Extraordinary Birder with Christian Cooper" for Disney+ and A&E’s new series "Booked: First Day In," following arrested individuals as they go through America’s booking process in jails across the country. Holub also recently developed, executive produced and launched HISTORY’s biography series "The Mega-Brands that Built America," the successor to Lucky 8’s popular "The Food That Built America" for the network.
Additionally, Holub executive produces Lucky 8's groundbreaking (and award-winning) A&E hit "60 Days In" and National Geographic’s long-running "To Catch a Smuggler." He and Lucky 8 currently have additional projects in development with networks including Netflix, Discovery and National Geographic, among others.
Prior to co-founding Lucky 8, Holub was a producer at National Geographic where he helped create and served as supervising producer on the network’s Emmy-nominated hit franchise "Brain Games," and also produced series including "Border Wars" and "American Weed."
Holub’s other credits include "Polygamy, USA" and "Inside Underground Poker" for National Geographic and "Mysteries of the Museum" for Travel Channel.
