Gardner Reed is the senior vice president of development at Wheelhouse Entertainment – the content studio within Brent Montgomery's media, marketing and investment company, Wheelhouse – where he runs a slate of projects, many of which are developed in partnership with the company’s various production labels (Spoke Studios, Butternut, Twist and Wheelhouse’s UK division).    

Reed’s recent successes include the transactional series King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch (Netflix), home renovation series Designing Miami (Netflix), upcoming home design series Divided by Design (HGTV), and soon to be announced series including a celebrity family docu-series for A&E, an ensemble docu-soap for Netflix, and several others in active/funded development with NBCUniversal, Hallmark, Amazon, and Lifetime.

Before joining Wheelhouse, Reed spent four years working in development at Leftfield Pictures, where he helped develop Bethenny & Fredrik (Bravo), The Book of John Gray (OWN), and more. Prior to Leftfield, Reed worked in field and post production for Sirens Media on series including Who The Bleep Did I Marry? (ID) and The Real Housewives of New Jersey (Bravo). Reed began his career in television working on the scripted series Army Wives (Lifetime), as well as stints at Clear Channel Radio and the DC-based casting company Carlyn Davis Casting.
